Discussion of the content of chemistry education

On April 7, 2025, the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Geography of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, the developers of educational programs of the Department of Chemistry, held an online seminar to present the content of the Chemistry educational programs.

The seminar was attended by the department`s faculty members, educational program developers from various higher education institutions, chemistry teachers from secondary schools in Almaty, and employers-professors and researchers from the A.B.Bekturov Institute of Chemical Sciences and the D.V.Sokolsky Institute of Fuel, Catalysis and Electrochemistry.

At the seminar, Abai KazNPU lecturers Zhanar Korganbayeva and Aliya Beisekova presented the content and recent updates of nine educational programs of the Chemistry Department. During the event, Abai KazNPU`s program developers actively participated in discussions, sharing their questions and suggestions. The new content and features of the bachelor`s educational program 6B01524-IP-Chemistry were also reviewed.
