Science Decade

On April 10, 2025, within the framework of the "Science Decade," a Tedx-style event titled "Scientific Ideas for a Sustainable Future" was held at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University. The event was organized by Zukhra Mukhambetaliyeva, a member of the Young Researchers Collaboration Committee, and took place at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Geography, Department of Chemistry. Distinguished guests of the event included Saule Zeinolla, PhD, CEO Teachers Lab, and trainer-consultant at the UNESCO Office in Almaty; and Kulyash Kaymuldinova, Professor, Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Geography, and laureate of the academician N. Bazanova Award a respected figure in the fields of science and education.

The event was officially opened by the Head of the Department of Chemistry, candidate chemistry sciense and аssociate Professor Zhazira Mukatayeva. The Tedx platform provided participants with a valuable opportunity to engage with novel scientific ideas and thought-provoking discussions. The speakers shared insights from their scientific journeys and perspectives on advancing sustainable development. Throughout the event, participants actively discussed scientific concepts, asked questions, and exchanged experiences. The open-dialogue format enabled students and young researchers to express their ideas freely and gain direction for their future academic pursuits. The speakers encouraged the participants to demonstrate perseverance and determination in writing their future master`s and doctoral dissertations. The event "Scientific Ideas for a Sustainable Future" served as a vibrant intersection of science and education, practice and innovation.
