XVII Republican Student Subject Olympiad among students of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On April 17-18, 2025, the XVII Republican Student Subject Olympiad among students of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the group of educational programs «6B012-Chemistry teacher Training» was organized by the Department of Chemistry of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Geography of Abai KazNPU.

The main purpose of the Olympiad is to train qualified specialists, develop creative abilities, and increase students` interest in the educational process and research activities.

36 students from 18 universities of Kazakhstan took part in the Olympiad. Vice Rector for Academic Affairs of Abai KazNPU Narbekova Banu, Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Geography Kaymuldinova Kulyash and Head of the Department of Chemistry Mukatayeva Zhazira delivered a welcoming speech at the opening ceremony. The Olympiad traditionally consisted of two stages: theoretical and practical.

At the closing ceremony of the Olympiad, Director of the Department of Academic Affairs Zhanbekov Khairulla awarded the team leaders with certificates and letters of thanks.

The winners of the Olympiad were awarded diplomas, prizes and valuable gifts.
