The teaching staff of the Department of Biology switched to distance learning

The teaching staff of the Department of Biology of the Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography of Abai KazNPU, on March 16 switched to a distance learning system. The teaching staff of the department has successfully mastered one of the largest platforms used to organize online training - Zoom. This service offers communication software that combines video conferencing, online meetings, chat and mobile collaboration. The educational process takes place according to the schedule and according to the curriculum developed in accordance with state compulsory educational standards. As digital educational resources, video lessons, tutorials, tests and other educational technologies are used. Since March 17, 2020, disciplines have been taught through the Zoom system in the following areas: «Botany» (professors Sofya Imankulova, Karatay Shalabayev, associate professor Kuandyk Musaev, senior lecturer Dinara Amanbekova); «Zoology» (associate professor Murat Dzhaksybaev, associate professor Komus Batyrova, senior lecturers Dana Seksenova, Asiya Maimataeva); «Genetics» (Professor Dokhtarkhan Aidarbayeva, senior teachers Raushan Dzhunusova, Rita Saimova, Elmira Kauynbayeva, Tolganai Altynbek); «Physiology of the development of schoolchildren» (professor Abdrazak Babashev, associate professor Galiya Tatarinova, senior lecturers Sholpan Shynybekova, Dina Kulzhanova); also the subject of specialty 7M01513-Biology «Organization and planning of research», associate professor Mahabbat Amanbayeva and subjects of other teachers. The teaching staff of the department uses all possible methods to ensure timely and quality training. Our students and undergraduates are actively studying the curriculum, calculated before the examination session using distance learning methods.
