What can the modern man find in the wisdom of the East?

On February 2, 2021, an online round table «What can the modern man find in the wisdom of the East?» was held under the leadership of Professor of Political Science and Social and Philosophical Disciplines of the Institute of History and Law Kabaeva J.A. Many important questions were discussed. The question of a person`s place in life, raised in the works of Western and Eastern philosophers, aroused great interest. In particular, the works of Omar Khayyam, Confucius, Lao Tzu and Abai, in which this theme is fully represented, were considered.

Teachers and students of the specialty «Philosophy» took part in the event. They actively shared their opinions.
