Career guidance as a basis for the professional orientation of an individual

On December 6-12, 2024, teachers of the Department of Political Science and Social and Philosophical Disciplines of the Faculty of History and Law, candidate of political sciences, senior teacher Daulbaev T.F. and senior teacher, master Meirmanov A.D., held an official meeting with 11th grade students and teachers of school-gymnasium No. 81 in Almaty. During the meeting, graduates were explained how to choose a profession, what needs to be done in order to have the necessary set of knowledge, skills that allow them to realize themselves professionally and socially.

During the meeting, students were given advice on choosing a profession and answers to their questions, and were provided with handouts. In the 2024-2025 academic year, the department developed an effective mechanism for creating a system of effective career guidance for students, contributing to the formation of professional self-determination in adolescents in accordance with the desires, abilities, individual characteristics of each person and taking into account the socio-cultural and economic situation in the country. The students were presented with a presentation about KazNPU named after Abai and the Faculty of History and Law, the Department of Political Science and Social and Philosophical Disciplines, information about the website, and the rules for admission of applicants.
