Open lecture "Ethical aspects of the concept of "Perfect man" by Abai"

On March 19, 2025 at 09:00 at the address ul. Zhambyla 25, room 605, an open educational hour dedicated to the 180th anniversary of Abai was held, which was conducted by the senior lecturer of the Department of Social and Philosophical Disciplines of the Faculty of History and Law, Political Science Meirmanov Amanzhol Doszhanovich on the topic "Ethical aspects of Abai`s concept of the "perfect man" and its continuity in Kazakh philosophy."

The open lesson analyzed Abai`s concept of a "holistic person", that is, a "spiritually perfect personality". By forming a "holistic person" and embodying a spiritually and intellectually mature personality, Abai sought to reform society and resist tyranny and the divisive actions of external forces. Abai`s ethical ideal, which was in spiritual continuity with the tradition of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi, was to heal society, satisfy the needs of the human soul, that is, to strive for spiritual perfection. Abai`s concept of "Three qualities of a person: "ardent strength, bright mind, warm heart", describing a spiritually perfect person, clearly reflects the idea of "perfection of humanity" - a holistic personality. The President of the country K-Zh. K. Tokayev in his article "Abai and Kazakhstan in the 21st century" emphasizes that we should focus on Abai`s concept of "Tolyk adam" and apply it to all aspects of public life, and comes to the conclusion that "Abai`s legacy is a sacred value that paves the way for our unity as a nation and development as a country. If we follow Abai`s advice and do what he says, we will prosper as a country and achieve our ideals as a state."

These issues were analyzed in detail during the open lesson. The lesson was attended by groups 101, 102 of the specialty "Philosophy", as well as the administration of the faculty and teachers of the department. The lesson was very interesting, accompanied not only by a presentation, but also a general discussion and an active exchange of ideas. Students, as well as the deputy dean of the faculty of history and law for educational work and social issues Azanbaev Medet Dyusenbekovich, professor of the department of political science and social-philosophical disciplines Kusainov Daurenbek Omirbekovich and teacher Nurakinov Alden Nurseitovich took part in the exchange of opinions and shared their opinions. The lesson was held at a high cognitive and educational level and received positive feedback.
