Seminar “Test Construction Methodology”: Innovative Approaches and Practical Recommendations

On February 7, 2025, at 10:00 AM, a seminar entitled "Test Construction Methodology" was held in Room 202 of the main academic building as part of the plan of the Foundation Faculty`s department.

During the seminar, modern methods for developing tests for students of the preparatory department for the UNT and for foreign citizens were discussed in depth, along with various types of test tasks and their structures. Participants learned practical recommendations and scientific methodologies aimed at increasing the reliability of tests, improving the quality of test items, and enhancing the assessment process.

The keynote speaker was Smagulova A.Z., head of the Test Center and a renowned expert in the field of testing. She shared her experience and professional knowledge, thoroughly presenting to the audience the methodological foundations of test construction and modern technologies. We believe that the seminar played a significant role in the implementation of innovative approaches aimed at enhancing the quality of education for the teachers of the Foundation Faculty.
