Welcome, great Nauryz!

On March 19, 2025, the Foundation Faculty of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University celebrated the Great Nauryz holiday at a high level.

The festive event began with a welcoming speech by the Director of the Department of International Cooperation, B. O. Sapargaliyeva.

Nauryz is a celebration of renewal and kindness, a symbol of unity and prosperity, mercy and abundance. During the event, students dressed in traditional national costumes and performed plays showcasing Kazakh customs and traditions. The audience enjoyed the performance of the kyui “Adai”, folk songs, national dances, and a flash mob. Additionally, Nauryz Kozhe was prepared and served to students and guests.

As part of the celebration, an intellectual quiz was organized among students, along with national games such as tug-of-war, asyk tossing, and arm wrestling. Students shared their knowledge of traditional cuisine and demonstrated the Kazakh culture of hospitality.

At the end of the evening, the Dean of the Foundation Faculty, Aysulu Matkassymkyzy, awarded outstanding students with honorary certificates. The Head of the Department, Araylym Zhubatkankyzy, extended warm wishes to the students and wished them success in their studies.

This festive event allowed students to deepen their understanding of the culture and traditions of our people, fostering the promotion of national values. The vibrant evening, which brought joy to all, was a great success.
