Application for recruitment of a candidate for a vacant position 

 

Name of vacant position:

Chief Specialist of the Youth Creativity Department of the Department of Educational, Social Work and Youth Policy

Main functional responsibilities of the structural unit:

Development of annual plans for cultural, sports, recreational and educational work with students of the Society, ensuring their implementation;
Conducting various events on cultural and mass work, patriotic education, crime prevention and extremism prevention, healthy lifestyle formation, education of tolerance and interethnic harmony.
The introduction of advanced methods and forms of organization of educational and social work into practice;
Organization of work to clarify and promote the main priorities of the President`s Messages to the people of Kazakhstan;
To prepare and publish materials in the media on educational and social work;
To request and receive from the relevant structural divisions of the Company the documents and information necessary to perform the tasks assigned to the Department;
Involve employees of other structural divisions and the Company, with the consent of their managers, to prepare draft regulations and other documents, as well as to develop and implement activities carried out by the Department;
To create working groups in accordance with the established procedure to prepare proposals and reports to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan on issues within the competence of the Department;
To get acquainted with the draft decisions of the Company`s management concerning its activities;
To coordinate activities, interact with republican, city and public youth organizations and associations;
To participate in events organized by interuniversity associations for work with student youth.

Main job responsibilities:

To participate in the activities of the Society for the organization of the educational process in accordance with the requirements of the State Educational Standard of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Standard rules of activity of educational organizations implementing educational programs of higher professional education;
To carry out the orders of the Chairman of the Board-Rector of the Company concerning the activities of the Department;
To develop drafts of long-term and annual work plans of the Department and submit them to the management of the Company;
Monitor the implementation of the activities provided for in the plan, as well as the quality of work performed by the Department`s employees;
To participate in the development of projects of various concepts, programs in the areas of activity of the Department;
Take part in the development of the necessary documentation;
To ensure record keeping and document management in accordance with the approved nomenclature of the Department`s affairs, compliance with regulatory requirements, completeness and high-quality documentation, compliance with the established procedure for its approval;
To take part in the work on the implementation of the anti-corruption management system (SMPC).
To ensure the participation of employees in the Department`s work profile in events organized by the Company`s management;
Take measures to ensure the safety of life and health of employees in the performance of their duties;
Prepares and submits information to the management of the Company, higher-level organizations on issues related to educational and social work;
Supports the policy of informing the Company`s management about potential or existing violations of the anti-corruption policy, conflict of interest resolution policy and requirements of other internal regulatory documents of the Company on anti-corruption.

Required professional experience (duration, field, other)

Experience of organizing work in universities or other educational institutions for at least 3 years.

Knowledge of languages, including the state language (list of languages the candidate should be proficient in)

Kazakh language, Russian language

Computer Skills:

An experienced user of the MS Office package (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, WordPad)
