The training of «Why do we need reading motivation?»

On October 19, 2021, in honor of the Librarian`s Day, the lecturer of the Department of World History of the Institute of History and Law Didar Mamyrbayev conducted a training with 3rd year students of the specialty «6B01601-History» and 4th year students of «5В01300-History-Religious Studies» on the topic «Why do we need reading motivation?». The event was attended by teachers of the Department, students and librarians.

During the event «Why do we need reading motivation?» issues related to the popularization of books published within the «Rukhani zhagyru» program, increasing students` interest in reading books and the daily life of librarians in the world of books and their work were discussed.

Professor of the Department, candidate of historical sciences Zhumakhan Nurmambetkyzy told the students about the benefits of reading and that a person who reads regularly develops knowledge and qualities such as humanity and benevolence. Librarian of the Institute of History and Law Maykotova Gulshat shared her work experience and answered students`questions, there was an active exchange of views. Students took an active part in an interesting and exciting event and expressed their gratitude to its organizers.
