Republican festival of arts of students "Abai alemi"
The jubilee for Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University was marked by another significant event: on April 24 - 25, 2018, the traditional republican festival of arts of students "Abai alemi" was held.
At the opening of the festival the rector of the University, Professor Takir Balykbayev emphasized the importance of this event aimed at popularization of Abai`s heritage and wished all the participants success.
The ceremonial part began with the performance of the actor of the Kazakh State Drama Theater named after M.Auezov, the honored figure of Kazakhstan Zhalgas Tolganbai, who read Abai`s monologue about the fate of the Kazakh people and his bright future. Then the event was continued by the concert program of the creative teams of the University.
106 applicants took part from 22 higher educational institutions of the countryin the two-day festival. Festival competitions were held in three directions: "Abai olenderi", "Abaidin kara sozderi", "Abai anderi".
Contestants`creativity wasevaluated bywell-known literary critics, cultural workers and artists of the republic, professional singers, composers and experienced academic teachers. In the "Abai olenderi" nomination, the jury was headed by the senior scientific employee of the Research Center "Khakim Abai", Doctor of Philology, academician Mekemtas Myrzahmetuly, in the nomination "Abaidin kara sozderi" - director of the Research Center "Khakim Abai", Candidate of Philology, Associate Professor Zhabal Shoyinbet, in the nomination "Abai anderi" - Honored figure of Kazakhstan, singer, composer, producer Arman Duisenov.
According to the results of the contest, the III place was awarded to the student of the University of Suleiman DemirelSergaly Malika, the II place - to the student of Zhangirkhan West Kazakhstan Technical University Isa Muratov, the winner of the I place was the student of Mukhtar Auezov South Kazakhstan State University AsanTolkyn.
In the nomination "Abai olenderi" the third place was taken by the student of Abai KazNPU Abdyeva Shattyk, the student of Taraz State Pedagogical University Zarkhat Akerke became the second place winner, the honorary I place was taken by the student of Shakarim State University Sailaubekova Alina.
The competition in the nomination "Abai anderi" was held in two directions: among "professional" performers and "amateurs". According to the results of the competition, among the performers "amateurs", according to the decision of the jury, the third place was shared by a student of Abai KazNPU Tuzhmina Daniyarovna and a student of Zhangirkhan West Kazakhstan Agrotechnical University Akmaral Nurgaziyeva, II place was awarded to the student Abai KazNPU Oleg Khomenko, the first place was taken by the duet "Daryn" of the Kazakh State Women Pedagogical University.
As a result of the competition among the "professional" performers, the third place was shared by the student of T. Zhurgenev Kazakh National Academy of Arts Asan Sundet and the vocal group "A capella" of Kurmangazy Kazakh national conservatory, the second place was awarded to the student of Kurmangazy Kazakh national conservatory Suyunishov Sayasat, an honorable first place was taken by the student of T. Zhurgenev Kazakh National Academy of Arts Turlykozh Almat.
All the winners were awarded with diplomas and cash bonuses in the amount of 150,000KZT for the first place, for the II place the cash prize in the amount of 100,000KZT, for the III place was given 50,000 KZT. Special nominations and cash prizes were awarded to the top 10 contestants, and all participants received thank-you letters.
The jury members did not go unheeded,who for two days evaluated the performances of the contestants. On behalf of the university, they received cash prizes and memorable gifts.
At the end of the festival, a gala concert was held with the participation of the festival`s winners.
One of the chairmen of the jury - the singer, composer Arman Duisenov, in his turn, congratulated all the winners and performed his beautiful song as a token of gratitude.
The festival left a pleasant impression and gave inspiration and new opportunities.
