Seminar Series on “Current Issues in Modern Foreign Literary Studies”


A series of seminars titled "Current Issues in Modern Foreign Literary Studies" was organized at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University. The seminars were conducted by the Faculty of Philology and the Department of Foreign Languages. The events brought together professors, faculty members, master`s students, and students from Abai University, as well as experts from both Kazakhstani and international universities.

 

The goal of the seminars was to introduce participants to current scientific trends and innovative methods in modern foreign literary studies, to discuss futurism, digital pedagogy, comparative literary analysis, and modern teaching practices in order to enhance research potential. The objectives included: exchanging experiences with local and international specialists; exploring the historical and artistic role of futurism in literature; conducting comparative analysis of the works of Abai and Shakespeare; demonstrating methods for applying digital technologies in early education; and showcasing the effectiveness of level-based and modern methods in teaching foreign languages.

6. "The Works of Emily Dickinson" and Level-Based Teaching - S. Esimkulova (KazNPU).

 

The seminar series served as an effective platform for scholarly exchange, the presentation of international experience, and the discussion of current topics in the teaching and research of foreign literature. The event contributed to strengthening the university`s academic potential and enhancing collaboration within the professional community.
