Webinar dedicated to the academic career of renowned scientist Gulbanu Kosymova

 

On April 8, 2021 an online webinar dedicated to the scientific career of the famous scientist Gulbanu Kosymova was held on the platform Zoom organized by the Department of Kazakh language and literature named after S. Kirabayev of Abai KazNPU Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education as part of the scientific week «GYLYM-GALYM-GUMYR».


The event featured a video presentation about the career of Gulbanu Seylbekovna Kosymova, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor, Honoured Worker of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Laureate of the International Award «Scientist Contributing to the Development of the Turkic Language». The directions of her scientific research, international relations, scientific works, textbooks, teaching aids and methodical manuals are described.

 

Professor of the Turkish University Firat Yerzhan Alkaya, young scientist, Doctor of Philology, Osman Kabaday from Kirsehir Ahi Evran University, candidate of pedagogical sciences, professor of Suleiman Demirel University Ergozhina Shattygul, Director of the Research Center named after M. H. Dulati Doctor of Philology, professor Samen Kulbarak, teacher of literature No. 81 of gymnasium schools in Almaty, Bostandyk pedagogical district, master Sciences - Berdenova Kanzada, Researcher of the Research Center «Aytylgan Tarikh», Master`s student of Abai KazNPU, Zhassharalinа Gulden, 4th year student of the specialty «Kazakh language and literature in schools with non-Kazakh language of instruction» - Nysangaliev Daniyar Didarovich 1 course of the Department of Kazakh Language and Literature, Oralkhanova Zhanel told about the scientist-teacher and gave the participants detailed information. The online meeting was moderated by doctoral student Zhanna Imankulova.

 

At the end of the event, Gulbanu Seilbekovna answered questions posed by students and teachers. She thanked all participants of the webinar for their heartfelt remarks.
