Presentation of dastan "Korkyt" by poet-jyrau S. Nurbayev

On October 27, 2023 within the framework of the 95th anniversary of Abai KazNPU at the department of Kazakh language and literature named after academician S.Kirabayev of the Institute of Philology was held the presentation of dastan "Korkyt" by poet-zhyrau Subek Nurbayev, organised by the association "Tulgatanym".

Guests of the evening: the son of poet M.Makataev - Zhuldyz Mukagaliuly, the son of writer Kabdesh Zhumadilov - Arman Kabdeshuly, journalist, writer, publicist Ashirbek Kopishev and the daughter of zhyrau-poet - Abzhanova Inabat, Scientists of Turkey Ahmet Boran, Fatih Bey and professor of our university Baltabay Abdigazizuly shared their opinions. The students performed a composition of poems, conducted a linguistic analysis of the poet`s work and sang songs and played a cuy. Moral thoughts about the work of Zhyrau, who sang heroism, left a vivid impression on those present.
