Members of the “Til-Tanym” Club Organized a Challenge Dedicated to Abai`s Poetry

In honor of the 180th anniversary of the birth of the great Kazakh poet and thinker Abai Kunanbaev, members of the "Til-Tanym" club at Abai KazNPU organized a challenge for expressive recitation of his poems from memory.

The challenge was initiated by Meruert Alibayeva, Associate Professor, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, and lecturer at the Department of Kazakh Language Theory and Teaching Methodology at the Faculty of Philology. Students from different linguistic backgrounds participated enthusiastically, reciting Abai`s profound and insightful poems with deep emotion, striving to grasp their wisdom and meaning.

The event aims to popularize the works of the great poet and promote an in-depth study of Kazakh literature and language. The challenge will continue in the future, fostering participants` growing interest in Kazakh culture.
