Educational Event at the Akhmet Baitursynuly Museum-House On March 17, 2025, the "Til-Tanym" club held an educational session at the Akhmet Baitursynuly Museum-House. The event was organized by the club`s leaders, M. S. Alibayeva and S. Nurgali, and was attended by students learning Kazakh as a non-native language.
During the session, students gained new insights into the life and works of Akhmet Baitursynuly, deepening their knowledge of the great enlightener`s legacy. Their understanding was assessed through a quiz, and their retention of the presented information was evaluated. Additionally, participants recited Baitursynuly`s poetry from memory and shared their reflections on his contributions to education.
As part of the seminar, a discussion was held on Baitursynuly`s role in the development of the Kazakh language, his contribution to national culture, as well as the current state and future prospects of the language. The students expressed their thoughts on these topics, demonstrating their interest in the Kazakh language and culture.
One of the key moments of the session was the screening of a documentary film about Akhmet Baitursynuly. After the screening, participants shared their impressions and discussed the knowledge they had gained. Club members learned new facts about the life and struggles of the great enlightener and gained a deeper appreciation of his significance for Kazakh society.
The primary goal of the session was to popularize Baitursynuly`s legacy, foster historical awareness among students, and instill respect for the Kazakh language and culture. At the end of the event, students asked questions and exchanged opinions with the organizers.
This educational session helped increase the interest of non-native language students in Kazakh culture and language, broadened their horizons, and deepened their understanding of historical heritage. The event was conducted at a high level and proved to be both informative and valuable for all participants.
