Тhe admonitions of great figures are a bridge connecting the past and the future


On March 28, a fascinating lecture was held at the Ahmet Baitursynuly House-Museum for first-year students from the Sorbonne Institute in Turkmenistan. The lecture was conducted by Roza Bakbergenova, a senior lecturer at the Department of Theory and Methods of Teaching the Kazakh Language at the Faculty of Philology of Abai KazNPU.

 

The guests were welcomed by Aidos Zhamilya, the head of the museum-house, who shared information about the history and significance of the school of enlightenment. The main goal of the lecture, titled "Sayings of Ahmet Baitursynuly," was to reveal the meaning and analyze the wise words of the great teacher of the nation.

 

The students, dressed in national costumes, recited Ahmet Baitursynuly`s aphorisms from memory and then discussed them with Roza Kozhabaykyzy. Students specializing in "International Relations in the Context of Globalization," such as Nilufar Ulgubekova and Mekan Orazov, as well as students from "Accounting and Auditing," including Hosiat Allamova, Ogulnur Amangeldieva, Dademrat Kakaev, Otuz Otuzov, Khaniya Saparova, Turdysoltan Nurpesesova, and Aishat Sylpapberdiyeva, actively participated in the discussion and shared their thoughts.

 

Additionally, Ahmet Ugurel, a master`s student from Firat University (Turkey), took part in the event, emphasizing the significance of Ahmet Baitursynuly`s works in the field of Turkology. During the meeting, the students also showed their respect for Abai Kunanbayev by reciting his poems by heart, demonstrating their deep appreciation for great historical figures.


At the end of the lecture, the students performed the national anthems of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan. The head of the museum-house, Raihan Sakhybekkyzy, expressed her gratitude to Roza Kozhabaykyzy and the students, highlighting the importance of such events in strengthening international relations. After the lecture, the students visited Ahmet Baitursynuly`s monument in his garden to honor his memory.
