Report on the international scientific seminar on the topic: “Akhmet Baitursynuly`s Theory of Living Knowledge – A Conceptual Basis for Language Teaching”
On April 10, 2025, the Faculty of Philology at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University hosted an international scientific seminar on the topic: "Akhmet Baitursynuly`s Theory of Living Knowledge - A Conceptual Basis for Language Teaching."
The event was officially opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Philology, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor Alua Vasilyevna Tanzharykova. The seminar was organized by Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Raigul Saduaqasovna Rakhmetova.
The lecturer of the seminar was Professor of the Kazakh-British University, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences Zhanat Turarbekovna Dauletbekova. During the seminar, the scholar delivered an in-depth presentation on Akhmet Baitursynuly`s linguistic concepts and the relevance of his `living knowledge` theory in the context of modern language education.
The seminar was attended by professors and students of Abai University, as well as guests from the Chirchik State Pedagogical University of the Republic of Uzbekistan, including: Ulmas Rakhmatovich Saidov - Head of the Department of Uzbek Linguistics (PhD), Raimberdi Kudratillaevich Khaitmetov - Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Faculty of Humanities, Dilbar Uskanovna Duysabayeva - Senior Lecturer, Department of Uzbek Linguistics. This event served as a valuable platform for strengthening international scientific cooperation and exchanging professional experience.
Zhanat Turarbekovna Dauletbekova is a highly knowledgeable, versatile, and experienced educator with strong scientific potential. Her presentation generated significant interest among participants, sparking productive discussions and scholarly reflection.
The international seminar became an important academic platform for broadening the scientific outlook of young researchers and future educators, as well as for reevaluating Akhmet Baitursynuly`s legacy in the context of contemporary language teaching.
