Seminar-training «Technology of development of the alphabet of Turkic-speaking peoples» 

On 11 October, 2018, in the framework of the project «The method of mastering national alphabet on the basis of Latin graphics» a training seminar «Technology of development of the alphabet of Turkic-speaking peoples» was held. The seminar was opened by the director of the Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education, doctor of philological sciences, professor Baltabay Abdigaziuly. He stressed the importance of introducing the national alphabet based on the Latin graphics in the educational system of Kazakhstan. The head of this research project, professor of Abai KazNPU, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan Fauzia Orazbayeva spoke about the purpose of the training seminar and its tasks. Head of S. Kirabaev Kazakh language and literature chair, Doctor of Philology, Professor Kalbike Esenova wished success to the event, emphasizing the relevance of its topic.

At the training seminar, presentations were made by: Head of the Grammar chair of A. Baitursynov Institute of Linguistics, Professor Orynay Zhubaeva; Senior Researcher of Grammar chair, Alfiya Soltanbekova; Senior Researcher of «Phonetics» chair, Zhanar Zhumabayeva; engineer of the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technologies of Almaty Technological University, head of the laboratory of Robolab-Robotics, Nurzhan Zhumahan; Director of SANA academy LLP, Nursultan Azhimuratov; Professor of the Academy of the National Security Committee, Doctor of Philology, Sarah Koyanbekova; Professor of Kazakh-British Technical University, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Zhanat Dauletbekova; Head of the chair of «Foreign Languages» of Abai KazNPU, doctor of philological sciences, professor Zhumagali Abuov; Associate Professor of «S. Kirabaev Kazakh language and literature» chair, Nazira Amirzhanova.

Scientists, doctoral students, undergraduates of universities of Almaty took an active part in the discussion of a relevant topic.

According to the results of the training seminar, an appropriate resolution was adopted.
