Informative meeting «Teacher is a great name»

On 19 February, on the basis of the republican specialized secondary boarding school with in-depth study of the Kazakh language and literature for gifted children, an informative meeting «Teacher is a great name» was held with the secretary of the Linguistic Commission, an examiner in the state language of candidates for the presidency of the Republic of Kazakhstan, laureate of the Sh. Valikhanov Prize of I degree, the owner of the state grant MES RK «The best teacher of the university», Academician of the International Academy of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor of the Kazakh National Pedagogical University, Doctor of Education, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan Fauzia Shamsievna Orazbayeva.

The meeting was organized by a team of the Republican specialized boarding school for gifted children under the guidance of the assoc. prof. of «Kazakh language and literature» named after Academician S. Kirabaev Department, doctor of pedagogical sciences Raigul Rakhmetova and doctor of philological sciences, assoc. prof. Nagima Ilyasova.

Pupils of the school showed small scenes prepared by them about the work of scientists and teachers, read poems-initiations, sang songs. Fauzia Shamsievna told the schoolchildren about the specifics of the teacher`s profession, revealed topics such as the Kazakh language, the Kazakh people, the national spirit, and called upon them to become students of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University after graduating from school. Pupils asked many questions, shared their opinions and ideas about the profession of a teacher.

The meeting was held at a very high level, made a great impression on the students. The director of the boarding school, Roza Seksenova, warmly thanked Academician F.Sh. Orazbayeva, on behalf of the teaching staff and students of the school, for participating in an educational meeting, for an interesting conversation, and presented her with a gift - a beautiful kamsol.
