Meeting with a well known Turkish scientist Akhmet Buran

The Department of Kazakh language and literature named after academician S. Kirabayev Of the Institute of Philology and multilingual education organized a cognitive meeting on the theme «Ustazdyq alemdi sharlaiyq!» with doctor of Philology, Professor of the University of Firat Akhmet Buran, invited by the program of academic mobility to conduct lectures in the departments of bachelor, master and doctoral studies.

At the educational evening, poems were read and songs dedicated to teachers were sung. The culmination of the evening was the performance of new songs on dombra by Yerkebulan Akhan and the performance of Banu Eradilovna-the performance of a song on a brown kobyz. At the evening Diana Aren, having danced traditional dances of Turkic peoples at a high level, received a standing ovation from the audience. Performance «Ustazdyq Omir Zholy» of 3rd year students of specialty «5B011700 - Kazakh language and literature» was memorable by all participants of the cognitive evening.

Professor Akhmet Buran, a well-known scientist in the field of Turkology, in his speech emphasized the high level of education of students, undergraduates and doctoral students. He expressed his gratitude and warm wishes to the rector of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical Universityto and all university staff. At the end of the evening, according to tradition, a Kazakh national chapan was thrown over the shoulders of the guest.

The head of the Kazakh language and literature department named after academician S. Kirabayev Kalbike Esenova, the teachers of the department Zhanalyk Baltabaeva, Balkiya Kasym, Gulbanu Kosymova, Karlygash Seitalieva, Zharkynay Kokanova took part in the evening, shared their impressions and thanked the students also the organizers of the evening-advisers Guldariga Kenzhebaeva and Roza Bakbergenova.
