International Scientific Conference «Historical Science and Education in the XXI Century»

On the first day of the international scientific conference «History and Education in the XXI century» at Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University on March 23, 2021 in the second section «Use of sources in history teaching, problems of their selection and classification: the historians` version».

T.T. Dalaeva, the professor of the Department of history of Kazakhstan named after academician T.S. Sadykov of the Institute of history and law made the report «Representation and visualisation of everyday life of traditional Kazakh society in XIX - beginning of XX centuries: strategies of research and teaching».

This was a great opportunity to share with colleagues reflections and reflections on what is the subject of teaching the history of everyday life in Kazakh traditional society in the 18th and early 20th centuries; what visual sources are available to students today; what research strategies for interpreting visual sources of the history of Kazakhstan in the new era are possible, including in the framework of the implementation of the scientific project «Visual Anthropology and History of Images of Kazakh Culture of the 19th - early 21st centuries: Evolution and Acquisition of Identity».
