Problems of teaching physics at school were discussed


On December 24, 2019, on the basis of the chair of Physics of the Institute of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics of Abai KazNPU the second round table discussion «Problems of teaching physics at school: innovative ideas and educational programs» was held. The meeting was attended by specialists from national universities and NAS of RK, representatives of employers and the public, as well as foreign experts.

 

First Vice-Rector Maktagali Bektemessov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Assan Satmurzaev, Director of the Institute of Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science Murat Bekpatshaev took part in the opening of the round table. In their speeches, they welcomed the guests and participants of this event, wished them fruitful work.


Speakers were professor of the University of Leipzig (Germany) Mahabbat Kenzhegalieva, her colleagues Danagul Kazakhbayeva and Sheripidin Khamraev, who provided information on the updated content of secondary education, on the design features of educational programs in universities in Kazakhstan and Germany.


The discussion was attended by representatives of national universities - Kundiz Turekhanova, Assylgul Gabdullina, Bekbolat Tashev, Kuatbai Bisembayev. It was noted that the teaching of physics at school is traditionally associated with practical training, the introduction of innovative techniques that involve the transmission of information that the student will use in the future to achieve success. The role of the teacher in this process is enormous. It is very important that a teacher, especially a graduate of a pedagogical university, possess a set of knowledge, skills, competencies and techniques that will allow him to be a key figure in the educational process.

 

Professor Kosov V. N. summed up the results of the II round table, thanked the speakers and participants of the event, also noted the importance of cooperation in the design of educational programs, as well as in the training of competitive specialists.
