Final Conference of 4th-Year Students on Industrial Internship

On April 28, 2025, the Department of Physics at the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics, and Informatics of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University organized the final conference for 4th-year students of the educational program 6B05302 - Physics, summarizing the results of their industrial internship.

According to the curriculum of the educational program 6B05302 - Physics, a Bachelor of Natural Sciences is qualified to carry out the following types of professional activities: research, organizational and managerial, design and technological, and project-based activities.

The industrial internship took place in Almaty at the following institutions: the Ö.A. Zholdasbekov Institute of Mechanics and Engineering, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, as well as structural subdivisions of Abai KazNPU (Career Center, HR Department, Academic Department, and the Department of Physics).

Students who interned at the Institute of Nuclear Physics had the opportunity to work in laboratories processing data obtained from cyclotrons and cosmic ray detectors.

At the National Center for Expertise and Certification, students became acquainted with international and state standards, as well as the key principles of certification for food and non-food products and the calibration of various instruments.

Project-based activities were carried out by students who completed their internship at the Ö.A. Zholdasbekov Institute of Mechanics and Engineering and Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

Students interning in the structural divisions of Abai KazNPU (Career Center, HR Department, Academic Department, and the Department of Physics) performed organizational and managerial functions.

The final conference was attended by the Head of the Department of Physics, V.N. Kosov, Professor K. Bissembayev, PhD D.M. Nasyrova, and internship supervisors K.Zh. Sultanova, G.A. Zheksenbayeva, A. Temirzhanova, and O. Abil.

During the internship, students were able to apply their theoretical knowledge in practice and strengthen their professional skills.
