On 17 February, 2017 at L.M. Gumilev Eurasian National University (Astana) held on a ceremony awarding the title of "Best University Teacher -2016", in which were awarded certificates and badges in a festive atmosphere. Minister of Education and Science of Kazakhstan Yerlan Sagadiyev awarded the winners.
In 2016, the competition was held in accordance with the updated requirements, when the activities of the teachers evaluated over the past 5 years. Including the development and publication of textbooks, monographs, textbooks in English; a certificate to the online training courses in a foreign language, to the knowledge of a foreign language. Also for the first time estimated the annual schedule of works. According to the schedule of works the title holders at the expense of the grant will be able to undergo training in the leading universities of the world for the purpose of scientific research and training.
By the decision of the Republican competition committee became the holder of title Kamarsulu Ibrayeva - candidate of pedagogical sciences, associate professor  of the Chair of Music Education and choreography of the Art Institute, culture and sports Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University.
