Group creative exhibition «Country of poets and heroes»


On March 30, 2022 at Abai KazNPU Institute of Arts, Culture and Sports in the gallery «Zhasampaz» a group creative exhibition of Iskakov Auelbek, director of the literary-memorial museum of the national poet Umbetali Karibayev, the best local historian of the RK, member of the International union of akyns and aityskers, member of the Union of Artists of the RK, Manapov Akhat, the author of the memorial complex of poets and heroes of Zhambyl district of Almaty region and Toteev Marat, member of the Union of Artists of the RK was held.

 

The exhibition was attended by Tokkozha Kozhagulov, Director of the Institute of Arts, Culture and Sport, and Berikzhan Almukhanbetov, Chairman of the Veteran Council.


In 1980 A.M. Iskakov graduated the Art-graphic faculty of Kazakh Pedagogical Institute named after Abay. Since 2011 he is the director of the museum of the national poet Umbetali Karibayev. The pedagogue of the highest category, the owner of the international medal «For contribution to development of education», the head of the circle of young artists at his museum, the author of a number of poetry collections and graphic illustrations for the books of many poets and writers.

 

A.A.Manapov graduated from the same faculty of our university in 1982. He worked as a head of the Architecture Department of Zhambyl district. He is the author of memorial complexes dedicated to poets and heroes of this region of Almaty Oblast. For merits in the fine arts he was awarded the medal «Batyr shapagaty» of veterans of the Afghan war of the RK and a medal in honour of the 50 anniversary of Institute of arts, culture and sports. Currently engaged in individual creative work.

 

M. Toteyev is a graduate of the Academy of Arts named after T. Zhurgenov. He was awarded the medal «Kurmetty ustaz» of veterans of the Afghan War of the RK. At the moment, the Zhambyl District School of Art educates young artists, participant of many international plein airs.
