Doctoral and undergraduate students of Abai University met with a famous scientist as part of a scientific project

The members of the IRN AР23488786 project "Transdisciplinary research in the system of art education: cultural memory and the phenomenon of national values in modern content" began organizing a series of lectures and seminars highlighting the implementation of the scientific project.

On March 10, 2025, at the invitation of the project`s research group, a creative meeting with a scientist from a regional university was held at the Faculty of Arts of Abai the Kazakh National Pedagogical University. Undergraduates, doctoral students of the educational programs "7M/8D01402 - Music education" and the teaching staff of the Department of Music Education and Choreography were addressed by the lecturer of the South Kazakhstan Pedagogical University named after Uzbekali Zhanibekov, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Rosa Sydykova.

The topic of the lecture-seminar "A transdisciplinary approach to the study of the conceptual sphere of Abai`s musical and poetic heritage in the context of the development of the creative industry of Kazakhstan" was consonant with the theme of the project, the purpose of which was to consider the continuity of theoretical and empirical scientific and pedagogical experience in the art education system by means of transdisciplinary research. The objectives of this event included: Strengthen cooperation between the country`s higher education institutions and the scientific community; Information exchange for the integration of scientific thought in the field of synergy in education, culture and art; Author`s exchange of scientific experience.

This meeting was very important for the younger generation of scientists and musicians. And this is not surprising, since the scientific credo of Rosa Sydykova is a musical abaiology. All her scientific activity is directed in this direction: the publication of articles, music publications, conference and seminar materials. Thanks to the scientific search and research, such works were read as "Abai tagzym etsek", " Choral reading of Abai`s melodies and poems by composers of Kazakhstan" and others.

Next, the professor answered the questions of the younger generation of researchers. The audience thanked the lecturer for an interesting and informative creative meeting. Laura Kakimova, the head of the project, thanked Rosa Sydykova for her scientific contribution to the treasury of human achievements in the sacred study of Abai`s musical and poetic heritage in a transdisciplinary approach.
