Decade of Science - 2025: scientific seminar within the framework of the project

In the period from April 09 to April 11, 2025, in the implementation of the calendar plan of the IRN project, the AP23488786 "Transdisciplinary research in the art education system: cultural memory and the phenomenon of national values in modern content" and timed to coincide with the decade of science, project members Laura Kakimova and Nurzhan Kasimov held a scientific seminar. The seminar was held at the O. Zhanibekov South Kazakhstan Pedagogical University at the Department of Music Education of the Faculty of Art and Education.

The purpose of the scientific seminar was to reveal the development of theoretical and methodological foundations of transdisciplinary research in art education in the integration of phenomena of cultural memory and national values in the educational programs of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, namely educational programs for master`s degrees.

The objectives of the scientific project were to acquaint students with the main concepts and categories of research, namely:

- Disclose the definition of "transdisciplinarity."

- Discuss the role of the phenomenon of cultural memory and national values in the content of art education.

- To identify the prospects for transdisciplinary research in the art education system.

The event was attended by the dean of the faculty A. Baibatshaeva, head of the department A. Dosbaganbetova, doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor R. Sydykova, faculty and undergraduates of the department "Music Education," as well as guests, doctor of psychological sciences, professor of the department "General pedagogy and psychology" of the South Kazakhstan State University named after M.A. G. Lekerova, representatives of the B. Momyshuly School and IT Lyceum School No. 7 named after K. Spataev.

On the topic of the first day of the scientific seminar, the reports "Features of transdisciplinary research in the system of modern art education" (Laura Kakimova) and "Formation of national value orientations of future music teachers in modern choral arrangements of Kazakh folk songs" (Nurzhan Kasimov) were heard. The second day was marked by the disclosure of the methodological aspects of the scientific project, where the project manager Laura Kakimova introduced the audience to the features of the project and its prospects, and project member Nurzhan Kasimov demonstrated the experience of using these phenomena in the report "Modern content of mastering Kazakh folk music in the choir class". The final day of the seminar summed up the problems and prospects of transdisciplinary research in higher music education.

The scientific seminar showed the need and importance of conducting such events, when the exchange of experience, recommendations and discussions are accompanied by the traditional form and additional side of the study. This event was held at a fairly high level, the tasks were completed. Based on the speeches of the audience and the discussion they supported, we revealed for ourselves that the mission of the scientific seminar showed the prospects and potential result of the project.
