75th annual traditional conference of students and undergraduates

On November 16 - 17, 2020, the Department of biology of the Institute of natural science and geography of Abai KazNPU organized «75th annual traditional conference of students and undergraduates» on the Zoom platform. Teaching staff of the Department of Biology, students of 1-4 courses and undergraduates of 1-2 courses took an active part in the conference.

The main goal of the «75th scientific conference of students and undergraduates» is
to get acquainted with current problems and results of the latest scientific achievements in the field of biology;
discuss a wide range of issues related to the use of information technologies in science and education,
and ensure the exchange of knowledge and best practices in promoting the scientific views of students and undergraduates.

The conference program consisted of sections: General biology, methods of teaching biology, new trends in education and science.

In the «General biology» section, students discussed current topics in the field of physiology, Zoology, and botany. Currently, the country pays great attention to the prevention and harmfulness of such actions among young people as Smoking, drug use, and alcohol abuse. Chairman of the section Shynybekova Sh.S. and members of the Commission highly appreciated the work of the speakers and their interest in science, especially noted the work of Urazgaliev L., Abdibaev N., Saparov A., tastanov M., Amangaliev A., Tatybaev A. and awarded prizes.

At the section» Methods of teaching biology», the speakers focused on topics that can become the basis for determining the effectiveness of biological education by analyzing modern pedagogical technologies, as well as on the possibilities of innovative technologies in the digital society, shared their experience and contributed to future diploma projects. The Chairman of the section, associate Professor Zhumagulova K. A. and with positive reviews of the Commission members Esenbekova K., Otegen S., Meiramovam., Yakonov R., Elham U., Nysanbayevna N. became the winners of prizes.

In the section «Modern trends in education and science», the selected areas and implemented experiments and achieved results were the only reason for a heated discussion and achievement of the conference goals. Among the speakers were the works of undergraduates who experimentally explained the effect of carbonated beverages on the human body and proposed measures for the prevention of diseases such as pancreatitis, as well as developed electronic resources for the formation of an information culture of students in biology classes. In this regard, the Chairman of the section d. B. N., Professor aidarbayeva D. K. and members of the Commission made a General decision, Aubakir A., Sailaubek K., Zhanaydar G., Dospolat. Matkarim J., Potekhin A. prize-winners took place.

In conclusion, the annual international conference of students and undergraduates has fully achieved its goals. Students and undergraduates received theoretical and practical training. We hope that the work done by the biology Department will help improve the skills of young specialists on the way to science and improve the skills of specialists.
