Seminar on the exchange of experience on the topic" modern methods of the educational process (electronic textbook, STEM, AI)"

"Science is the golden necklace of the whole world" as part of the monthly event (04/01 to 04/30/2025), as well as in connection with the interaction between universities and schools, on April 23, 2025, an experience exchange seminar was held at Gymnasium No. 59 of the Turksib district on the topic: "Modern methods in the educational process (electronic textbooks, STEM, AI)". The city seminar was organized by the heads of the Department of Natural Sciences of Gymnasium No. 59 Ibraimova Bakyt Tasbolatovna and Oraikhanova Anar Temirkhanovna, as well as a senior lecturer at the Department of Biology of the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai, PhD Saimova Rita Urgenchbaevna.

At the practical seminar, Komus Islyamovna Batyrova, Associate Professor of the Department of Biology, PhD, presented her author`s electronic textbooks: "Zoology of Invertebrates" and "Atlas of Vertebrate Zoology", an interactive "Atlas of Vertebrates of Kazakhstan", and also spoke about the advantages of electronic publications created using the Turbo site platform. Associate Professor of the Department of Biology, Ph.D. Demeuova Lyazzat Nurmakhanova shared information about the STEM method used in the educational process. Senior lecturer of the department, PhD Salimova R.U. shared the possibilities of using artificial intelligence in the educational process, which allows the teacher to master innovative teaching methods. A report on this topic was made by 3rd year student 6B01512- Chemistry and Biology Ibadulla Merey and 4th year student 6B01513-Biology Ablay Aruzhan. About 40 teachers of gymnasium No. 59 took part in the practical seminar. During the seminar, it was discussed that one of the main modern requirements for improving the quality of education is the development of technologies using modern methods and the use of artificial intelligence in the educational process of secondary and higher education.
