Continuity in Education: Experience Exchange Between College and University

 

On March 17, 2025, an open lesson was held at the Esik Humanities and Economics College for second-year students of the "011406000 - Pedagogy and Methodology of Teaching Language and Literature in Basic Secondary Education" program (qualification: "Foreign Language Teacher") and first-year students of the "6B01801 - Social Pedagogy" program at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University.

 

The lesson topic was "Types of Work with Families." The open lesson was conducted by college instructor Zharkynai Emenakynova. Additionally, Dr. Anar Alimbekova, PhD, Associate Professor, participated online, presenting theoretical and methodological aspects of working with families in schools and sharing her professional experience.

 

The objective of the open lesson was to help students develop a comprehensive understanding of the types and characteristics of working with families in educational institutions, enhance their professional competencies, and foster interest in their future profession. To achieve these goals, students analyzed current issues related to modern families, completed practical assignments, and discussed theoretical aspects. Special emphasis was placed on developing professional communication skills, analytical thinking, applying theoretical knowledge in pedagogical practice, and career guidance.
