Еmployers forum «Modern requirements to professional training of music teacher in the Republic of Kazakhstan»

26.02.2025 of the year at the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University within the framework of the Educational and Methodological Association of the Project Management Group (EMA-PMG) in the field of education "Pedagogical Sciences," a sectional meeting of the project team was held in the direction of "014-Training of teachers (educators) with the subject specialization of general development in the section" Music education".

Representatives of higher pedagogical universities from different cities of the republic (Almaty, Astana, Aktobe, Atyrau, Semey, Shymkent, Petropavlovsk, Pavlodar, Taldykorgan and others) could be present in the work of the section, which was timed to coincide with the employers` forum. Section moderator, Zhanbolat Kosherbayev, project team leader, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), senior teacher of Abai University opened the meeting, familiarizing those present with the EMA-PMG program and providing a speech to the participants.

The first issue on the agenda was the speech of colleagues from the Kazakh National Women`s Pedagogical University of Almaty. The speaker of the team, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Sholpan Kulmanova made a presentation on the topic "Research on the possibilities of teaching technologies and methods in training the future music teacher" and raised issues of developing digital competencies in the professional training of future specialists.

Speaker, President of the Association of Music Teachers in Almaty Zheniskul Makhanbetova, introduced the participants to the work of the association and its role in educating teachers.

Speakers from the city of Semey, Baktygul Bodauova, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Department of Arts, Shakarima University, scholarship holder of the Bolashak program 500 scientists and Aydar Abdukhamitov, head of the educational department of the "Regional Innovation and Methodological Center" of the Education Department of the Abay region, acquainted the project representatives with modern trends and requirements for the formation of professional training of music teachers in regional schools and universities.

Employer Kanat Amirkhanov, master, director of the educational and cultural center "Kanat" highlighted the psychological and pedagogical problems arising in the activity and focused on the development of managerial skills among young professionals.

At the sectional meeting, a report was also heard on the possibility of implementing a two-degree educational program in music training. Head of the scientific project of the AR23488786 - "Transdisciplinary research in the art education system: cultural memory and the phenomenon of national values in modern content," candidate of pedagogical sciences, acting professor of Abai University, Laura Kakimova, presented to the EMA-PMG community theoretical and methodological developments on the development of a two-degree program between partner universities, in particular between Abai University (Almaty, Kazakhstan) and Akdeniz University (Antalya, Turkey) Participants in the sectional meeting were free to ask questions and answer them under the heading "free microphone". The final speech of the moderator summed up the results of the sectional meeting and at the end of the work of the project team, decisions were made sent to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ministry of Enlightenment of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
