Scientific Visit of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University Scholars to Turkey

Between October 13–19, 2025, within the framework of the scientific project AR234888786 , faculty members of the Department of Music Education and Choreography — Prof. L. Sh. Kakimova, (Project Leader), Prof. K. E. Ibrayeva and Assoc. Prof. S. T. Balagazova visited the Faculty of Fine Arts at Akdeniz University (Antalya, Turkey).

Purpose of the visit: to discuss the content of dual-degree master`s programs and to participate in the II International Congress During the visit, meetings were held with representatives of Akdeniz University`s International Office-Emel Aktaş, staff member of the Department of International Relations, Prof. Dr. Sibel Paşaoğlu Üöndem, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Dr. Mariyam Yeziyeva, Scientific Advisor of the Project, Dr. Cengiz Şengül, Head of the Department of Music. —The meetings resulted in the discussion and approval of official cooperation documents: the Interuniversity Cooperation Protocol, the Memorandum of Understanding in Education, Science, Culture, and Art, and the Protocol on the Development of Dual-Degree Master`s Programs.

On October 15, 2025, an International Scientific and Methodological Seminar was held in hybrid format with the participation of the leadership of both universities` art faculties.

The seminar focused on the outcomes of the scientific visit, the agreements achieved, and prospects for future cooperation in the field of art education. From October 17 to 19, 2025, the faculty members took part in the II International Congress (Side–Antalya).

The project leader, Prof. L. Sh. Kakimova, PhD, presented a paper entitled The presentation generated significant academic interest among scholars from Turkey, Germany, and other countries. At the conclusion of the visit, the Abai KazNPU faculty members received certificates and letters of appreciation from the organizers of the International Congress and the administration of Akdeniz University.
