On 8 December, 2018, on the basis of D. Kunaev University was held the Republican scientific-theoretical conference of students and young scientists «Actual problems of modern science and education in the framework of the Message of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the people of Kazakhstan».

Third-year students of the specialty «Law» of the Institute of History and Law of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University attended the conference. Murat Maulen (supervisor - senior teacher Gulayna Osmanova) and Munara Kitapbai (supervisor - senior teacher Gakku Rakhimov) took the 2nd place, and Nurbol Yerzhan (supervisor - senior teacher Aigul Bizhanova) took the 3rd place. Many participants received certificates.
