A graduate of the Department of Russian Language and Literature met with first year students

On March 18 in Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University the meeting of the first year students of the department of Russian language and literature with the graduate of the department of Russian language and literature, candidate of philological sciences, former teacher and coordinator of the Centre of Kazakh culture and science in Pomeranian University (Słupsk, Poland) Maxim Ponomarenko took place. He shared with the students his experience of studying and further academic path in Poland, spoke about life in Slupsk, the peculiarities of the Polish education system and opportunities to participate in the diploma programme between Abai KazNPU and Pomeranian University.

Special attention was paid to intercultural dialogue and the importance of academic mobility for future philologists. The meeting was held in a warm atmosphere, arousing keen interest among the students, many of whom expressed a desire to learn more about the prospects of studying in Poland and participating in scientific and educational projects.

This year the bilateral cooperation between the two universities is already 10 years old. In this regard, the 7th annual scientific conference "Abai Readings" will be held in Słupsk on 27-28 June.
