Open Lectures by the Academic Staff within the Framework of Science Decade-2025

Within the framework of Science Decade-2025, the Department of Russian Language and Literature at Abai KazNPU held two open lectures, which demonstrated a high scientific and methodological level and innovative approaches in teaching.

On 2 April, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Kazhigalieva G.A. delivered a keynote lecture on the topic "Discussion Methodology of Language Teaching". The target audience was PhD students of the 1st year of the specialty " Russian Language and Literature". The lecture was attended by the department`s teaching staff, including the Head of the Department, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor Abisheva S.D. The lecture was distinguished by its rich scientific content, precise and logical presentation, vivid examples, and innovative approaches. Professor Kazhigalieva used advanced independent work, which was expressed in the conduct of a survey by PhD students among university students and teachers regarding the relevance and prospects of the discussion methodology in the linguistic educational process. The survey results were presented in the form of two videos.

On 3 April, Associate Professor of the Department of Russian Language and Literature Bekisheva R.I. conducted an open class on the discipline "Russian Language" with students of the specialty "History-Geography". The class was attended by the Head of the Department and other Russian language teachers. The topic of the class was "Speech Aspects of Business Communication. Business Contacts and Negotiations". The teachers noted the high scientific and methodological level of the class, the clear planning of stages, and the friendly teaching style, which contributed to the creation of a creative and educational atmosphere.
