Guests from Switzerland at Abai University

During the Science Week, guests from Switzerland visited the Department of Russian Language and Literature at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University. The visitors included Silvia Yanning, a Russian language teacher, and students from grades 12-13 of the Kantonsschule Wohlen gymnasium.

The first meeting was held in a warm and informal atmosphere: tea drinking, conversation, acquaintance, and exchange of impressions. Our guests interacted with students from Kazakhstan, the Czech Republic, and Turkmenistan - the atmosphere of multilingualism and mutual interest united everyone!

The next meeting at Abai KazNPU marked the beginning of new international connections and friendships for the students under the motto "Meeting of Cultures." Students from Kazakhstan, Switzerland, Turkmenistan, China, and the Czech Republic presented their countries, wearing national costumes and talking about the culture, traditions, and values of their people.

Bright presentations, national music, and sincere love for their native land made the meeting truly inspiring. Communication was conducted in Russian and English, and the atmosphere was friendly and warm. Such unforgettable moments unite students and strengthen international friendship.
