Abai University Representatives Presented Their Research at a Scientific Conference in Tallinn

From May 29 to June 2, 2025, faculty members of the Department of Russian Language and Literature at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University: Dr. of Philology, Professor Saule Abisheva, PhD, Acting Associate Professor Dina Sabirova, doctoral candidate Gulnur Atembayeva and PhD, Senior Lecturer Madina Moldagali took part in the VII Samoilov Readings organized by Tallinn University and the D. Samoilov Society in Estonia.

The visit was carried out within the framework of the research project funded by the Committee of Science of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of

Kazakhstan for 2024-2026: "Transmedia and Artistic Representation of the Image of Kazakhstan in Contemporary Global Culture" (Grant No. AP23489915).

A highlight of the conference was a seminar dedicated to the 180th anniversary of Abai. Professor Saule Abisheva delivered a presentation titled «Abai 180: Digital Renascence», in which she discussed Abai`s poetic legacy and new digital approaches to its study. PhD Dina Sabirova presented a paper titled «Classification of Forms of Transmedia and Artistic Representation of Kazakhstan in the World», which sparked great interest and lively discussion among the international academic audience.

Participation in the conference provided an opportunity to present research findings developed within the project and to gain valuable recommendations and ideas for further scientific development.
