“The Mother Who Brings Happiness to the World” Grand Festive Event

On March 7, 2025, the Department of Social and Youth Policy of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University (KazNPU) organized a grand festive program titled "The Mother Who Brings Happiness to the World" to honor the university`s women and beloved mothers.

The event, dedicated to International Women`s Day on March 8, was attended by the Chairman of the Board - Rector of Abai KazNPU, Bolat Tilep, along with university executives, faculty members, and staff.

The celebration opened with a congratulatory speech by the university`s rector, Bolat Tilep. "Our national university, regarded as the cradle of education, has made an immense contribution to shaping future generations. Our esteemed educators tirelessly strive not only to provide quality education but also to instill moral values in students. In this regard, the role of women in our institution is invaluable. In addition to being the heart of their families, they actively contribute to public service, politics, and various sectors of society. I congratulate all our esteemed teachers and women on this beautiful occasion. May your students achieve great success, and may your honor and prestige continue to grow!" said the rector.

The celebration continued with an award ceremony recognizing the dedicated women of the university. Several faculty members of Abai University were honored with the "Outstanding Service Award" by the Chairman of the Board - Rector. Additionally, many staff members received badges of recognition such as "Honored Employee," "Best Employee," and "Best Teacher," as well as Certificates of Honor and Letters of Appreciation.

The event was filled with delightful surprises. The Vice-Rector for Digitalization, Nurken Myrzabayev, the Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation, Ertay Sultan, and the Vice-Rector for Social Development, Maksat Zhakau, performed beautiful songs dedicated to the women in attendance. Meanwhile, male attendees presented vibrant tulips to the ladies in the audience.

The concert program featured performances by faculty members, adding charm to the evening. In honor of the esteemed mothers and beautiful women, renowned Kazakh pop stars Didar Kaden and Roman Maigaziyev performed their melodious songs, bringing special inspiration and emotions to the audience.

The joyful evening concluded with a graceful waltz by the audience, harmonizing with a hit song performed by the "Made in KZ" band on the traditional Kazakh dombra. The grand event ended with a heartfelt sing-along of the song "Ana Turaly Zhyr" (A Song About Mother) together with the performers.
