The psychological event «Psycho Express» was held

On November 13, 2025, within the framework of the project of the Coordinating Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan «Safe Environment», the Kazakh-British Technical University held a psychological express consultation event «Psycho Express».

The event was attended by Saida Kosbai and Aliya Musanova from the Psychological Support Service of Abai University. During the event, psychologists conducted consultations for KBTU students. The students received meaningful answers to their questions, recommendations and unique techniques aimed at the comprehensive development of personality. 

As part of the «Psycho Express» event, a psychological seminar was held for university psychologists from psychiatrist S. Sklyar and clinical psychologist V. Zhumadilova. The purpose of the seminar is to improve practical skills in recognizing suicidal risk among students and specialists, conduct a professional conversation with a person in emotional crisis, provide support and risk prevention. During the workshop, a video showing clear signs of suicidal behavior was shown and its significance was discussed.

The psychological express consultation "Psycho Express" makes a significant contribution to the popularization of the work of the Psychological Support and Psychology Service at the University.
