Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University annually participates in national rankings of educational programs such as:

1. The rating of demand for universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan (IAAR)

2. National rating of educational programs IQAA-Ranking of the Independent Kazakhstan Agency for Quality Assurance in Education

3. National rating of educational programs of NCE RK “Atameken”

Ratings are an important tool for managing the higher education system, a technology that allows evaluating the competitiveness of higher education institutions, and marketing universities. Initially used to better inform the public, university rankings have now become seen as an indicator of their quality. This spurred fierce competition among educational institutions, ratings began to influence decisions made by the management of educational institutions, their teachers, scientists, students and politicians.

Ratings of educational programs help students, parents and employers to orient themselves in choosing a university, as well as to assess its prestige, quality of education, level of student training, scientific research and other important aspects of the educational process.
