Abai University student got 3 places at the world championship on Kazakh kures

From February 26 to February 27, 2025, the Kazak kuresi World Championship among adults was held in Delhi (India). About 200 wrestlers from more than 20 countries took part in the competition.

According to the World Cup program, which lasted two days, the athletes (men and women) determined the strongest among them in 16 weight categories. Gulim Elubai, a 4th-year student of the Faculty of Physical Education and Primary Military Training at KazNPU named after Abai, won the 60 kg weight category, taking 3rd place and winning a bronze medal.
