Abai University student took the third place at the international Greco-Roman wrestling tournament

From February 25 to February 28, 2025, an international Greco-Roman wrestling tournament was held in Taldykorgan, organized in honor of veterans of the Afghan war.

Lutpulam Abulkasimov, a 2nd-year student of the Faculty of Physical Education and Primary Military Training, specialty "Physical Culture and Sports", took part in the tournament and took the third place. The personal trainer was Nurgeldy Sagat, a senior lecturer at the Department of Physical Education and Sports.

It should be noted that the athletes, led by teacher Nurgelda Sagat, took the second place in the team competition.
