The Abai University team became the champion of the XIII Summer Universiade in togyzkumalak!

From May 10 to May 14, 2025, the competitions of the XIII Summer Universiade in the national intellectual game togyzkumalak were held in the city of Turkestan. Teams from 65 universities of the country took part in the tournament.

The team of the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai took the 1st place among universities. The team consisted of Akerke Tursinali, Ayana Isakhan, Nuray Ganikizy, Aruzhan Kuatova, Zabira Sarsenbayeva.

In the individual competition, Akerke Tursinali took 1st place and was awarded a gold medal.

Bronze medals (3rd place) Ayana Isakhan and Yerdaulet Zhanabilov won.

The team`s coach is senior lecturer Mira Iralina.
