Abai University Student Wins Bronze at the XIII Summer Universiade

On May 16, 2025, the XIII Summer Universiade was held in the city of Turkistan among higher education institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Around 65 teams from universities across the country took part in this major sporting event. Spandiyar Baimukhanov, a first-year student at the Faculty of Physical Education and Basic Military Training of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, competed in the judo event in the 66 kg weight category and achieved an excellent result by winning the bronze medal.
