Volunteers from the squad of future teachers

In the autumn calendar there is an unusual holiday that fills the hearts of older people with a feeling of deep appreciation for those around them. This is the International Day of Older Persons.

Those who are close to them on this day want to be especially sensitive to all the elderly people, say thanks to them and make pleasant surprises. Students of the 2nd course of the specialty Pedagogy and the methodology of elementary education, led by their adviser Mariam Bekbayeva, decided to contribute to this special day and organized Timur`s work, the essence of which is to lend a helping hand to older people, give them warmth, care and provide real help.

From the diary of volunteer:
«On 19 October, 2018, we visited Lyubov Ogarkova, born in 1949, was visited. The hostess welcomed us warmly. We helped her with housekeeping, chopped the fallen leaves in the yard, chopped wood».

Students intend to continue to pay attention to older people; search and find new opportunities to support them and in every possible way to help. After all, in order for the life of elderly people, close grandparents to us, not to turn into a joyless or even sad existence, you just need to show how dear to us!
