In accordance with the plan of the Institute of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics, on 24 February, 2017 staff of the Chair "Methods of teaching mathematics, physics and computer science"  organized "Open doors"  event among secondary school graduates.

The meeting included:
• demonstration of the film about university.
• career-oriented conversation.
• Demonstration videos with presentations of specialties and areas of training at the Chair.
• Presentation by students enrolled in the academic mobility abroad.
• Answers to questions about the graduates.
• Distribution of promotional material: brochures, newspapers "Abai University",  news journal "Abai ".
• Questionnaire of school graduates.

Total information attended 155 secondary school pupils.
During the conversation, felt a great interest of the audience was asked many questions relating to the opening and final exams.
School graduates have learned that the Chair "Methods of teaching mathematics, physics and computer science" has with great traditions, high quality academic staff, strong methodological base, active student life.
