Guest Lectures by International Scholars as Part of Science Week

From April 1 to 4, 2025, as part of Science Week, Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai hosted guest lectures delivered by international scholars. The event featured Dr. Abdullaziz Artikbaev, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor at Tashkent State Transport University and the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek; Dr. Bekzod Sultanov, PhD, Associate Professor at Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhan Beruni; and Dr. Sherzodbek Ismailov, PhD, Associate Professor at Tashkent State Transport University.

The lectures were organized for final-year undergraduate students majoring in mathematics, as well as for master`s and doctoral students, and young scholars. The speakers addressed several current scientific topics, including:
• dual surfaces in isotropic space,
• geometry in semi-Euclidean spaces,
• minimal and linear surfaces in three-dimensional Galilean space.

Participants had a unique opportunity to explore modern research directions in geometry and mathematical modeling, ask questions to the international scholars, and discuss prospects for future scientific collaboration.
