Open Day Educational program «Training of a practical psychologist»

On April 09, 2025, an Open Day was held, organized by the Department of General and Applied Psychology of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology of Abai KazNPU. Students of grades 10 and 11 of Almaty schools, psychologists, university graduates, and specialists in the field of practical psychology were invited to this event.

Professors and teachers of the Educational program «Training of a practical psychologist» spoke at the «Open Day». The Department of General and Applied Psychology took an active part in the Open Day of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology of KazNPU named after Abai. The dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology, Galiya Abayeva, made an introductory speech. The event was held in a warm and inspiring atmosphere. Teachers and students of the department took part in the organization and conduct under the guidance of Kunslu Tusubekova, who is responsible for career guidance.

Anel Sadykova, a teacher of the department, conducted psychological training with students in order to increase their interest in the specialty of a psychologist. During this event, school students were shown a video about the activities of the department, and a 2nd year student, Tasbolat Yelzhan, provided a presentation about the specialty of a practical psychologist and the profession of a psychologist.
